Soviet Culture: 80th Anniversary of GTO -- Советская культура: 80 лет ГТО

ENG: 80 years ago the government program GTO (Gotov k trudu i oborone - Ready for work and defence) was launched in the Soviet Union. It lasted till the 1990s and one of the GTO tests was grenage throwing which was the most favorite among young people.
RUS: 80 лет назад в Советском союзе была запущена программа ГТО (Готов к труду и обороне). Она продолжалась до 90-х годов ХХ века, а одним из нормативов ГТО было метание гранаты, особенно популярное среди молодежи.
