ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ КУЛЬТУРЫ СОВРЕМЕННОГО МИРА - RESEARCH OF THE MODERN WORLD'S CULTURE

Время как граница: Времени нет. Безвременье – Time as Border: Time doesn’t exist. Non-time.
ENG: Occasionally I wake up and think what time it is. I.e. what time is it exactly? Of course, approximately I can define if it is night or day; if it is light it is probably morning… But if it is winter and it is dark it may be morning as well. Well, I need to know the exact time. It is completely different attitude to time. I am for solar-lunar “non-time” for it allows me to live.

Hey Alex
Looks like you have been back in the USA. Great pictures. We have had many other visitors to our home since you and your friends were here. My truck is nearly finished. I will send a picture when it is completed. You are welcome at the Deaton home.
Jerry
Alex,
Are you talking about the difference between Xronos (chronological / clock time) and Kairos (eternal time / timeless time)?
I, myself, prefer to live in Kairos time.
Hope you had a great trip to Louisiana. We will be in Russia around 20 April. Will send you email soon.
Gwendolyn
Yes, it is exactly the case. Although it is not so simple to draw a border between these two perceptions of time since we live in the multi-layered temporal-spatial continuum. My point is that the industrial and postindustrial (or information, or knowledge) civilizations, i.e. the modern civilization is obsessed with chronological time: you are 5 minutes late and you are fired :) Although I think the postindustrial one allows us to become more flexible about time.
The picture was taken in Madison, WI in 2006.
